Recertification in visible emission evaluation is required every six months. This one-day course provides students the opportunity to recertify. 

Prerequisite: Course #100 - Fundamentals of Enforcement

Completion of Course #100 Fundamentals of Enforcement with the California Air Resources Board is required for anyone who seeks VEE certification or recertification from the California Air Resources Board. This is also a requirement for anyone who seeks to be listed under VEE with the California Air Resources Board Independent Contractor's Program. This is to ensure all CARB certified VEE readers meet our standard of certification and understand the California VEE laws. Registration Information: No advance registration is required for VEE recertifications. Just show up and fill out an on-site registration form. Course fee is $100.00 due at the time of passing the test. No pass no pay. Payment by check or credit card is acceptable on site. Fee waiver applies only to air pollution regulatory agency personnel of U.S. EPA, ARB, county AQMD and APCD. 

Times: Day Certification usually starts at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until about 3:30 p.m. However, it's subjected to change due to the state furlough program. Please check table below before each recert date to confirm the date and time.
