REGULATION II - PROHIBITIONS

RULE 2.15 - PARTICULATE MATTER CONCENTRATION

A person shall not discharge into the atmosphere from any source, except as allowed by Rule 2.14, subsection a. and c., of this regulation, particulate matter in excess of 0.3 grains per standard dry cubic foot of gas.

When the source involves a combustion process, the concentration must be calculated to 12 percent carbon dioxide (CO2). In measuring the combustion contaminants from incinerators used to dispose of combustible refuse by burning the carbon dioxide (CO2) produced by combustion of any liquid or gaseous fuels shall be excluded from the calculation to 12 percent of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
