REGULATION VI - AGRICULTURAL BURNING

RULE 6.11 - EXCEPTIONS

The burning of agricultural waste is exempt from the provisions of Rule 6.3 through 6.9 of this regulation as follows:

a. The burning is performed with LPG or natural gas-fire burners designed and used to kill seeding grasses and weeds in orchards and field crops and the growth is such that combustion will not continue without the burner. Also when used in the harvesting of certain vine crop seeds for dessication purposes.
