RULE 924 - COMPLIANCE SCHEDULE - HARD CHROME PLATING AND CHROMIC ACID ANODIZING FACILITIES
(Adopted November 20, 1989)

  1. Compliance Schedule shall start upon adoption date. Adoption date is: 11-20-89.
  2. The following schedules apply to all hard chrome plating or chromic acid anodizing facilities.
    1. When chromium emissions are less than two (2) pounds per year, then the owner or operator shall;
      1. Within twelve (12) months submit an Authority to Construct form to the A.P.C.O.
      2. Within eighteen (18) months shall have emission collection system or systems installed and operational as stated in Rule 922 B.
    2. When facilitywide chromium emissions are greater than two (2) pounds per year but less than ten (10) pounds per year the owner or operator shall:
      1. Within eighteen (18) months submit an Authority to Construct form to the A.P.C.O.
      2. Within twenty four (24) months the facility shall be in compliance with Rule 922 C.
    3. When facilitywide chromium emissions are ten (10) pounds per year or greater then the owner or operator shall;
      1. Within thirty (30) months submit an Authority to Construct form to the A.P.C.O.
      2. Within forty eight (48) months shall have an emission collection system or systems installed and operational as stated in Rule 922 D.
