RULE 9.8 - VARIANCE ACTION

Except in the case of an emergency, as determined by the hearing board, the hearing board shall hold a hearing pursuant to Chapter 8 (commencing with Section 40800) of Part 3 of the California Health and Safety Code to determine under what conditions, and to what extent a variance shall be granted.
