RULE 431.3 - SULFUR CONTENT OF FOSSIL FUELS
(Adopted May 7, 1976)

(a) A person shall not burn any solid fossil fuel having a sulfur content which will emit more than 0.56 pounds of sulfur dioxide (SO2) per million BTU.

(b) The provisions of this rule shall not apply to:

(c) Solid Fossil Fuel

For the purpose of this rule "Solid Fossil Fuel" means coal, or any form of solid fuel derived from fossil materials, for the purpose of creating useful heat.
