RULE 260.42 - STANDARD FOR PARTICULATE MATTER

(a) On and after the date on which the performance tests required to be conducted by Rule 260.8 is completed, no owner or operator subject to the provisions of this subpart shall cause to be discharged into the atmosphere from any affected facility any gases which:

1. Contain particulate matter in excess of 0.18 g per million cal heat input (0.10 lb per million Btu) derived from fossil fuel or fossil fuel and wood residue. (Effective 9-17-77)
   
   
2. Exhibit greater than a 20 percent opacity except one six-minute period per hour of not more than 27 percent opacity. (Effective 6-16-78)
