RULE 1060 - LAND USE
(Adopted June 18, 1992, Amended December 17, 1992)
1.0 Purpose
The purpose of this rule is explain the responsibility of the APCO to notify planning authorities of potential air pollution sources associated with land use changes.
2.0 Applicability
This rule shall apply to any new or modified land use which emits or may emit air contaminants.
3.0 Requirements
As part of his responsibility to protect the public health and property from the damaging effects of air pollution, it shall be the duty of the APCO to review and advise the appropriate planning authorities within the District on all new construction or changes in land use which the APCO believes could become a source of air pollution problems.
