100 GENERAL

101 PURPOSE: The purpose of this Rule is to adopt by reference Federal New Source Performance Standards for specified sources as promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency at Title 40, of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 60 (40 CFR 60).

102 APPLICABILITY: All new sources of air pollution and all modified or reconstructed sources of air pollution shall comply with the applicable standards, criteria, and requirements set forth herein.

200 DEFINITIONS

201 ADMINISTRATOR: For the purpose of this Rule, the word "Administrator" as used in 40 CFR 60 shall mean the Air Pollution Control Officer of the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District (District) or his designee, except that the Air Pollution Control Officer or his designee shall not be empowered to approve:

(a) alternate or equivalent test methods;

(b) alternate standards; or

(c) work practices.

202 DEFINITIONS: With the exception of the definitions in this section, definitions for this rule shall be those listed in the applicable subparts of 40 CFR 60.

300 STANDARDS

The provisions of 40 CFR 60 in effect August 14, 1996, applicable to the subparts listed in this regulation are hereby adopted by reference and made part of the Rules and Regulations of the District:

301 Subpart D Standards of Performance for Fossil-Fuel - Fired Steam Generators for Which Construction is Commenced After August 17, 1971.

302 Subpart Db Standards of Performance for Industrial- Commercial-Institutional Steam Generating Units.

303 Subpart I Standards of Performance for Hot Mix Asphalt Facilities.

304 Subpart K Standards of Performance for Storage Vessels for Petroleum Liquids for Which Construction, Reconstruction, or Modification Commenced After June 11, 1973 and Prior to May 19, 1978.

305 Subpart AA Standards of Performance for Steel Plants: Electric Arc Furnaces Constructed After October 21, 1974 and on or Before August 17, 1983.

306 Subpart OOO Standards of Performance for Non-metallic Mineral Processing Plants.

307 Subpart WWW Standards of Performance for Municipal Solid Waste Landfills.
