Course 287, Dry Cleaning

Course #287: Self-inspection, leak checking and compliance assistance for facilities using perchloroethylene are emphasized in this one-day review of organic solvent fabric cleaning. Classroom discussion will focus on the dry cleaning process and the inspector's role in ensuring compliance with the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) for Perchloroethylene from Dry Cleaning Operations. During the field portion of the class, students will get hands-on experience using the latest leak detection equipment at a local dry cleaning operation.
