Large Confined Animal Facility (Large CAF) Definition

Senate Bill 700 requires the ARB to review all available scientific information, including but not limited to emissions factors for CAFs, and the effect of those facilities on air quality in the basin and other relevant scientific information, and develop a definition for a large confined animal facility (large CAF). The definition had to be adopted in a public hearing and the hearing had to occur on or before July 1, 2005. The following provide links related to this specific rulemaking:
