Site Description

The site is located at a telecommunications site approximately ½ mile south of the California Valley Community Service Center and CDF station.  The site is secure, and has fencing, shelter, off-road parking, power, and possibly telephone.  There are no local sources and vandalism was not evident during the site visit.  The site would have unobstructed exposure in all directions and has a power pole within the enclosure to drop power, if required, and to mount the sampling equipment.

This site would provide an excellent visibility and intrabasin transport site, with little or no impact due to local sources.
