Annual Monitoring Network Report

This page last reviewed on July 29, 2013

ARB staff completed the 2013 Annual Monitoring Network Report for Twenty-three Districts in California (PDF). Federal regulations require that the air quality monitoring network be reviewed annually to identify any need for additions, relocations, or terminations of monitoring sites or instrumentation. Federal regulations require the report be submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA).

Twelve local air agencies in California that operate monitoring sites are reporting separately on the ambient monitoring within their jurisdictions. This report consists of 23 air districts for which the local air agencies are not drafting a separate report.
