Annual Mobile Catering Exemption for TRUs

The following application in the table below is used to apply for an annual exemption for mobile catering TRUs dispatched by the National Interagency Fire Center as provided for in the 2011 Amendments of the TRU ATCM.   TRU owners are required to submit the application for exemption with documentation for each calendar year and can either be submitted by e-mail to arber@arb.ca.gov

Information submitted must be true, accurate, and complete.  Within 30 days of a change in ownership
or compliance status, the new information must be entered in the ARBER system.  This includes 
updates to the company profile and primary contact information.

This application can be used for an exemption of one (1) year from complying with the requirements of the in-use performance standards of the transport refrigeration unit regulation. This annual exemption is available only to carriers under contract with the National Interagency Fire Center to provide mobile catering services for emergency incidents that may occur during the year the exemption has been granted.
