Our society has benefited from technology: the introduction of the automobile, the
computer, and others, but there have been consequences. California is well place to meet our future air quality
goals. But, as in the past, we have seen that a growing economy and our personal choices (electric transit
to gasoline powered automobile, and others) affect our ability to achieve healthy air, especially if we look at
how our personal decisions affect the air. Who knows -- if enough of us made clean air choices -- we might even
reduce the need for future regulations and regulators!
