§ 41809. Disposal of Russian thistle

Notwithstanding Sections 41508 and 41800, open outdoor fires may be used to dispose of Russian thistle (Salsola kali) when authorized by a chief of a fire department or fire protection agency of a city, county, or fire protection district, the Director of Forestry and Fire Protection or his or her duly authorized representative, a county agricultural commissioner, or an air pollution control officer.
