Meeting to Present the Planned Air Pollution
Research Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Staff will present to the Board the portfolio of research projects recommended for funding in Fiscal Year 2012-2013. Staff will describe the objective of each of the proposed projects and how it relates to previous research. Staff will also discuss how the proposed research projects strengthen the Board's programs, including guiding policy making, developing new regulations, and ensuring adopted regulations are effectively implemented. Meeting to Consider Approval of the Proposed Assembly Bill 118
Air Quality
Improvement Program Funding Plan For Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Staff will present to the Board the proposed Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) Funding Plan for fiscal year 2012-2013 which provides staff's recommendations for allocating the $40 million of AQIP project funding in the Governor's proposed budget. Staff recommends directing most of the AQIP funding to continue incentives for the purchase of zero-emission passenger cars and new hybrid and zero-emission trucks and buses. The remaining funding would be allocated to advanced technology demonstration projects. The AQIP, created under Assembly Bill 118 (3007), provides incentive funding through 2015 for clean vehicle and equipment projects. More Information Staff Presentation |

Emissions and Market-Based Compliance Mechanisms, and to Consider
Amendments Allowing Use of Compliance Instruments Issued by Linked
Jurisdictions Staff will present proposed amendments to the cap and trade regulation relating to program implementation, as well as to clarify regulatory requirements.
