|96-7-1||Public Hearing to Consider Amendments to the Air Toxics Hot Spots
Fee Regulation for Fiscal Year 1996-97
The staff will propose amendments to the Air Toxics Hot Spots Fee Regulation for FY 1996-97 to base fees on a facility's public health risk or district assigned prioritization score. State costs are reduced by 34 percent for FY 1996-97.
|96-7-2||Public Hearing to Consider the Amendment and Adoption of Regulations
Regarding Stationary Source Test Methods
Test methods are used to determine compliance with Air Resources Board (ARB) or district emissions standards, support development of control measures, and develop emission inventory. The proposal is needed to incorporate improved emission measurement technology and to improve the quality of test data. These methods are the result of several years of consultation with the affected stakeholders and are consistent with corresponding U.S. EPA methods. To ensure statewide consistency in the application of the methods, the proposal would provide the ARB Executive Officer with exclusive authority to approve modifications to the methods as long as they are found to give results that are equivalent to the adopted method. This proposal is not expected to have significant economic impacts for the test firms and industrial community.
|96-7-3||Public Hearing to Consider Amendments to the Hydrocarbon and Oxides
of Nitrogen Emission Standards for 1995 and Later Utility and Lawn and
Garden Equipment Engines Used in Snowthrowers and Ice Augers, and to the
Carbon Monoxide Standard for 1996-1998 Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles
Staff will propose amendments to make the hydrocarbon and oxides of nitrogen emission standards optional for 1995 and later utility and lawn and garden equipment engines used in snowthrowers and ice augers, and to revise the carbon monoxide standard from 300 g/bhp-hr to 350 g/bhp-hr for 1996-1998 off-highway recreational vehicle engines.
