Low Rolling Resistance Tires Currently Archived from the U.S. EPA Website
This page last reviewed January 9, 2014
The following tire models were previously verified with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) SmartWay program, but as of March 6, 2011, they are no longer SmartWay verified. If you purchased any of these tires before the change and they have a Department of Transportation (DOT) date code of 0911 or earlier, they are still considered verified and therefore compliant with Californiaís Tractor-Trailer Greenhouse Gas (GHG) regulation. Any of these models with a DOT date code of 1011 or later will not comply with the California requirements.
NOTE: This webpage has been developed to provide information that can assist fleets in complying with the Tractor-Trailer GHG regulation. It is not an official U.S. EPA SmartWay webpage, nor is it an endorsement of any specific technologies. For the most up-to-date information provided by U.S. EPA, please refer to the SmartWay Technology Program webpage.
