There is sometimes confusion over the terms "VOC regulatory" and "VOC actual" as used by ARB. "VOC regulatory" is the same as the term "VOC coating" used in many local air district rules, which is equivalent to the term "VOC, less water and exempts." "VOC actual" is the same as the term "VOC material" used in district rules, which is equivalent to saying "VOC, including water and exempts." To help you calculate "VOC regulatory" and "VOC actual", we have provided a "VOC Calculator" below.
