Suggested Control Measure for Automotive Coatings

The Air Resources Board (ARB) in cooperation with the air pollution control and air quality management districts (district) developed a Suggested Control Measure for Automotive Coatings (SCM). The SCM promotes uniformity amongst district rules, improves enforceability and will achieve additional reductions of volatile organic compounds. The ARB approved the SCM on October 20, 2005.
