ACTIVITIES

September 29, 2006

The Proposed Amendments to the California Consumer Products Regulation and the Aerosol Coatings Regulation (Staff Report) have been posted to the website:

The release of the Staff Report, which discusses staff's proposed 2006 Amendments, initiates the 45-day public comment period. The proposal will be presented to the Air Resources Board at the Board Hearing scheduled for November 16. 2006. Please note that November's Air Resources Board Hearing will be held at the Public Utilities Commission Auditorium, 505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, California 94102.

September 12, 2006

We have posted necessary materials for Thursday's, September 14th, Consumer Products Public Workshop. The materials include the full "strike-out/underline" version of the Consumer Products Regulation and the modified part of the Aerosol Coating Products Regulation. The modified regulation includes all proposed changes to the regulation including category definitions, VOC limits, and other provisions. Also posted are example complying formulas for the Third Staff Proposals for Category Standards, and an agenda and presentation for this week's Public Workshop.

We have posted the Public Workshop Notice for the September 14, 2006, meeting of the 2006 Consumer Products Regulation Workgroup. We have also posted the Third Staff Proposal for Category Standards, the Staff Proposals for 2007, and Other Items to be Addressed for the 2006 Consumer Products Regulation.
