the California Regulation for Reducing Emissions from Consumer Products and
Test Method 310: Determination of Volatile Organic Compounds in Consumer
Products and Reactive Organic Compounds in Aerosol Coating Products
(a.k.a. the "Staff Report" for the 2010 Proposed Amendments to the
Consumer Products Regulation) has been posted.

A Technical Assessment Letter regarding
the new Consumer Products Regulation emission limits coming into effect as of
December 31, 2010 has been posted, along with a Table
of Standards for each new product category limit that will be
affected. Please respond to this letter as soon as possible, if you are
from a company that will be having issues reformulating your product(s) in
order to meet the new limits by December 31, 2010.

The ARB will hold a workshop to discuss proposed amendments to table of
MIR (reactivity) values for VOCs, at ARB's Monitoring & Laboratory Division
building, 1927 13th Street Sacramento. Workshop and teleconference

posted the presentation for the August 4th Consumer Products Regulation
Amendments Public Workshop. The categories proposed for
regulation at the September 2009 Board Hearing include Double Phase Aerosol Air
Fresheners, Multi-purpose Solvents, and Paint Thinners.

posted the Revised Staff Proposal for the June 2009 Consumer
Products Regulation Amendments, (which includes revised draft category
standards), the draft proposed amendments to the Consumer
Products Regulation, (strikeout underline version of the Consumer Products
Regulation), Proposed Changes to Method 310, and the workshop presentation. The categories
proposed for regulation at the June 2009 Board Hearing include Paint Thinners,
Multi-purpose Solvents, and Double Phase Aerosol Air Fresheners. Please
use these materials for the April 1, 2009, public workshop.

amendments are scheduled to be considered at ARB's June 2009 Board Hearing.

posted the draft staff proposal for category standards and definitions for the June 2009 Consumer Products
Regulation Amendments. The categories proposed for regulation at the June
2009 Board Hearing include Paint Thinners, Multi-purpose Solvents, and Double
Phase Aerosol Air Fresheners. These items will be discussed in detail at
the next Consumer Products Public Workshop which is tentatively scheduled to be
held in April.
