On November 8, 2004, the Final
Regulation Order for the Airborne Toxic Control Measure for
Stationary Compression Ignition Engines was approved by the Office of
Administrative Law and filed with the Secretary of State. The
rulemaking will become operative December 8, 2004.
On November 10, 2004, the Final Regulation Order for the Airborne Toxic Control Measure for In-Use Diesel-Fueled Transport Refrigeration Units (TRU) and TRU Generator Sets, and Facilities Where TRUs Operate was approved by the Office of Administrative Law and filed with the Secretary of State. The rulemaking will become operative December 10, 2004.

CANCELLATION - TRU Public Workshop on 8/26/03: The Transport
Refrigeration Unit (TRU) Workshop that was scheduled for August 26,
2003, has been canceled. The Board adoption date of the TRU Airborne
Toxic Control Measure has been postponed to December. Currently, staff
is internally discussing additional technology development strategies
for reducing diesel particulate matter and hydrocarbon emissions. Once
our initial concepts are developed, we will schedule a TRU Workgroup
meeting for some time in September to discuss possible regulatory
approaches.
