The Air Resources Board has verified the Cleaire Advanced Emission Controls, LLC LongMile-S diesel particulate filter system for select 1993 through 2010 model year heavy-duty diesel engines used in on-road applications.  The LongMile-S system reduces emissions of diesel particulate matter by at least 85 percent and is designated as a Level 3 Plus system.  The primary components of the passively-regenerated LongMile-S system include a diesel oxidation catalyst, a silicon carbide wall-flow filter, and an electronic monitoring system.  The LongMile-S system is compatible with on-road vehicles using diesel fuel that contains up to 20 percent biodiesel. Specific engine families and conditions for which the LongMile-S system has been approved may be found in the Executive Order below.
