The Air Resources Board (ARB) conditionally verified Nett’s VorTEQ 100 DPF as a Level 3 Plus actively regenerated diesel emission control system for certain off-road diesel engines certified to particulate matter (PM) emission levels of 0.26 grams per kilowatt-hour (0.20 grams per brake horsepower-hour) or less. Nett’s VorTEQ 100 DPF uses a diesel fuel burner to heat and oxidize accumulated particulate matter for regeneration to achieve an 85 percent reduction in emissions of diesel PM and is compliant with ARB’s 2009 nitrogen dioxide standard. Specific conditions for which Nett’s VorTEQ 100 DPF system has been approved are found in the conditional verification letter below.
