Verification Procedure - Warranty Requirements
This page last reviewed April 24, 2012
The Diesel Emission Control Strategy
Warranty Report must be submitted by April 1 of each calendar year.
This report, as outlined in Section 2707 of the Verification Procedure,
must be submitted on an annual basis by all manufacturers who have
applied and received verification by Air Resources Board. A
manufacturer whose verification status has changed or has been
suspended is still required to comply with the warranty reporting.
Manufacturers are also required to submit a warranty report within 30
calendar days should their warranty claims exceed four percent of the
number of diesel engines using the diesel emission control
strategy. Failure to comply with the warranty requirements may
result in the de-verification of a manufacturer's diesel emission
control strategy(s), and/or suspension of all verification activities.
Complete information on this requirement may be found in the Verification Procedure.
For your convenience we have provided a Warranty Form for your use in submitting the information.
