| Here is a summary of the electronic procedures that are already in widespread use by most districts for transmittal to the ARB of rule review packages and State Implementation Plan (SIP) submittals: | ||
| 1. | Rule review packages and SIP submittals are sent as attachments to an e-mail message to the ARB rule review coordinator listed below. | |
| 2. | Documents, including SIP documents and forms, can be in Microsoft® Word (.doc) or Adobe® Acrobat® (.pdf) formats. | |

| 3. | For adopted and amended rules, a clean copy of the rule in Word® or PDF format is required to update ARB's web-site District Rules Database. | |
| 4. | Electronically transmitted documents are accorded the same status as hard copy versions, including documents with handwritten signatures, initials, or stamps. | |
