MARIPOSA COUNTY AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT

RULE 416 - VIOLATION OF NATIONAL AMBIENT AIR QUALITY STANDARDS

1. The Air Pollution Control Officer shall deny an Authority to Construct for a facility or modification or, pursuant to an analysis performed in accordance with the provisions of Rule 408, causes a violation of a national ambient air quality standard.
   
   
2. The Air Pollution Control Officer shall deny an Authority to Construct for a facility or modification which, pursuant to an analysis performed in accordance with the provisions of Rule 408, contributes to a violation of a national ambient air quality standard in a downwind nonattainment area. The Air Pollution Control Officer may exempt sources from this Section that comply with the provisions of Rule 421, Sections A. and B.
