Emissions Inventory -- Stationary Sources

Stationary Sources

Stationary sources are large, fixed sources of air pollution and include power plants, refineries, and factories.

Each of the local air districts estimates the emissions for the stationary sources within its jurisdiction. The ARB then compiles this information and makes it available to the public through the Facility Search tool. To learn more about how the emissions are estimated for a particular facility, please contact the local air district in which the facility is located. Some emission factors used to calculate emissions are listed in CATEF.

Facility Search
Find emissions data for each of the more than 10,000 stationary sources in California. Information on criteria and toxics emissions is available for the years 1996-2006, as well as some earlier years.
