A.P. Deauville Case Settles for $150,000

In 2010, a case was resolved with A.P. Deauville concerning 2005 sales of Power Stick Deodorant Body Spray product that contained VOCs in excess of the 75 percent limit for Personal Fragrance Products to California. After additional investigation, a second settlement agreement was executed on November 4, 2011, covering 2006 through 2008 sales of non-complying product and for failing to satisfy product dating requirements. The company agreed to make payments totaling $150,000 to the Air Pollution Control Fund.
