In May, 2011 Longdo Trucking Corp. agreed to pay $3,400 in penalties; $2,550 to the California Air Pollution Control Fund and $850 to Peralta Community College District, for violating air quality regulations.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Longdo Trucking Corp. failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). To settle the case, Longdo Trucking Corp. agreed to the $3,400 penalty and to comply with the PSIP and other ARB programs.
