ROCKLINE INDUSTRIES SETTLEMENT FOR $6,000 |
| On July 12, 2005, a case was settled with Rockline Industries for a payment of $6,000. A notice
of violation was issued to the company on June 3, 2005, for selling approximately 54,300 units of Target Glass
and Surface Wipes into California. The sample products were obtained from a Target store located in Elk Grove,
California. The samples exceeded the 6 percent by weight volatile organic compound (VOC) limit for non-aerosol glass cleaners effective on January 1, 1996. The company has since reformulated to meet the 4 percent limit for non-aerosol glass cleaners effective December 31, 2004. |
