SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. SETTLES FOR $13,500

Southern California Environmental, Inc. has paid $13,500 in penalties ($10,125 to CAPCF and $3,375 to CCDET colleges) for violating air quality regulations.  This settlement was reached in July 2008.  An investigation by ARB showed that Southern California Environmental, Inc. failed to properly self-inspect the portion of their diesel-powered vehicles fleet that falls under PSIP, and failed to retrofit their vehicles in compliance with the SWCV rule.  To settle the case, Southern California Environmental, Inc. agreed to the $13,500 penalty and to comply with PSIP and the SWCV rule.
