SCHAEFFER MANUFACTURING SETTLES FOR $ 15,800


Since September 2003, the Schaeffer Manufacturing Company has been supplying and offering for sale in California their aerosol Citrol Multi-Purpose Degreaser product, subject to a 50% VOC limit, and their non-aerosol Citrol Multi-Purpose Degreaser product, subject to the 4% VOC limit for aerosol and non-aerosol General Purpose Degreasers respectively.  Neither product was in compliance with the Consumer Product Regulation VOC limits, and the company was issued an NOV.  The case was settled on August 29, 2008 for $15,800.
