| After January 1, 2003, Star Brite sold or manufactured for sale
into California approximately 59 gallons of Star Brite-100F Anti-Freeze Protection Windshield Washer Fluid which is subject to the volatile organic compound (VOC) limit for windshield washer fluids (ready to use). The VOC content of the product exceeded the 10 percent VOC limit for this category of windshield washer fluids manufactured before 12/31/02. On June 9, 2006, Star Brite settled this case for $2,000. |
