TAP ENTERPRISES COMPLAINT SETTLED FOR $2,000
Enforcement Division staff received a complaint that non-compliant portable fuel
containers were being offered for sale at the Cummins Industrial Tools event held at the fairgrounds in Ukiah.
TAP Enterprises (dba Cummings Industrial Tools) travels from state-to-state selling industrial tools directly off
their trucks at these events. Staff had determined that the containers did not meet the performance standards and
labeling requirements. A total of 486 non-compliant containers were offered for sale in the State of California.
TAP Enterprises was issued a Notice of Violation and settled this case for $2,000 on September 1, 2004.
