Air Quality Modeling and Support
Objectives and Responsibilities
The Air Quality Modeling and Support Sections are
responsible for performing air
quality modeling required to assist the California Air Resources Board in
preparing California Clean Air Act and State Implementation Plans, evaluation of
emission control strategies, transport assessment and mitigation, and maintaining
air quality models at the current state-of-the-science.
