November 6, 1996 Dear Interested Parties: Motor Vehicle Fuel Border Supply Issue Workshop Notice You are invited to a public workshop to discuss the merits of amending the existing Cleaner-Burning Gasoline Regulations (Title 13, CCR, Sections 2250-2272) to exempt small volume retail gasoline operations which are located near California s border with other states. The Air Resources Board (Board) has been requested to consider modifying the regulations to provide relief that would be specifically targeted to those areas where the historical means of obtaining gasoline supply have been adversely affected by the implementation of the cleaner-burning gasoline requirements. The purpose of the workshop is to engage in open discussion with all parties concerned regarding the need for such an exemption, and the appropriate approach to take if the decision is made to proceed with developing a proposal for consideration by the Board. The workshop has been scheduled for the following date, location and time:
If you have questions or concerns regarding the workshop you may call Mr. Jim Behrmann at (916) 322-8273.
