LCFS Proposed 2013 Regulatory Amendments

Background

The Board approved the Low Carbon Fuel Standard regulation on April 23, 2009, and it went into effect on January 12, 2010.  The Board also approved regulatory amendments at its December 2011 hearing, which went into effect on November 26, 2012.  Based upon feedback from stakeholders, we are proposing additional enhancements to the regulation.  This page contains informal rulemaking information, documents, and other materials under development for the proposed regulatory amendments, currently scheduled for the Board's consideration at its October 2013 hearing.  A separate formal rulemaking website will be established when the formal 45-day public review and comment period begins.
