Two public meetings on the Goods Movement Action Plan will be held in October. Meeting
materials are available below. Please note: we would appreciate your voluntary registration
to aid our planning, but registration is not required. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate
in the meetings, regardless of whether or not they register.

2005, in Los Angeles.

A public meeting on Goods Movement and Ports was held on February 11, 2005 in Oakland,
California to hear information regarding goods movement and the impacts and infrastructure needs for Northern California
and the Central Valley.

Public Meeting - January 27 and 28, 2005
A public meeting on Goods Movement and Ports was held on January 27 and 28, 2005
in Los Angeles, California. This two-day meeting was attended by over 220 individuals who represented a broad range
of interests and viewpoints related to improving port related goods movement in California. A policy statement
entitled, "Goods Movement in California" was prepared by BT&H and Cal/EPA prior to the meeting. This
statement prepared by the two agencies, helped to bring focus to the discussion in Los Angeles and will be the
guiding principle for further actions and decisions regarding goods movement.
