It is critical that California adopt an overall plan to greatly
reduce greenhouse emissions from cars and light trucks. ( I only
wish it would also include jets and piston airplanes as well.) 
There should be financial incentives for private business to get
involved and this could provide many new jobs in the transportation
industry. 
This is a good start.  Many of us who would travel on light rail
and bicycles, and walkways, need the infrastructure and
transportation connections, especially in the greater LA basin, to
make these transit alternatives realistic and practical. There must
be an immediate change in direction in our energy use, and our
dependence on oil, both mass transit and new and strict measures to
reduce emissions in cars and trucks would help greatly.  Thank you
