| Comment | California has a chance to have more accessible alternative transportation, walkable and bikeable communities, less vehicle miles traveled, and a healthier environment. We need to let CARB know before their next meeting that we want the most agressive yet achievable GHG emission reduction targets. Also, we need to stress the importance of having affordable housing close to work, schools and other community amenities, reliable and safe alternative transportation choices, and clean air for ourselves and our children. PLEASE find a solution that will benefit our future, and our descendants' futures. Allowing emissions to remain the same or increase is NOT acceptable, and will not achieve the goal for our future. Thank you. |
