I have been intentionally living Vehicle-free in Los Angeles for
over a year now. I felt genuinely guilty contributing the the mess
that is our air quality in this city, and welcomed the chance to
experience more of the city through the use of public
transportation and by doing it the old fashioned way... WALKING! I
fully support any move to enforce the strictest standards for
Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Targets! As well as increasing
accessible alternative transportation methods. Neither Mankind's
health and welfare,or those of our planet should ever have taken a
back seat to progress. Those were the mistakes of our Grandparents.
Those mistakes need to be recognized and mended, it is what is
rationally and logically demanded of us in what has been and what
is becoming our modern society. That's true forward progress.
