| Comment | Please do not implement carbon cap and trade at this time. We need more time for the unclear science of greenhouse gas emissions to be weighed against the very real costs to consumers. Consumers will be impacted the most - directly when they buy power, and also indirectly when goods and services increase in price. There will also for many be the additional hardship of losing their job when industries flee to states with out this additional energy tax. Given California's current unemployment and budget crisis, this is a very imprudent time to implement this energy tax. Please delay, or at a minimum roll out in a more limited and cautious way the adoption of this proposal. |
