I am 52 years old. I am a 4th generation San Franciscan, my
grandson is the sixth. I am concerned that my grandson may never go
deep sea fishing for salmon as I did as a youngster. I am concerned
the air he breathes may make him sick. I am concerned that fracking
may pollute the water he drinks. 
I am very concerned about the health of California as a whole.My
ancestors worked very hard to make California what it is, and I
intend to fight to save it from people and corporations that simply
want to make a buck and don't care about the waste and pollution
they leave behind.
I want to thank you for taking global warming seriously.Many parts
of the program are strong, yet I want to ask you to please
strengthen the program by;
1) forcing polluters to pay for the emissions they generate by
purchasing permits at an auction;
2) making businesses and homes more energy efficient;
3)increasing public transit options (look at Europe for
examples,many people don't need to own cars);
4)developing more wind and solar projects.
Three of the above ideas would also provide jobs and business
development.
