Hello,

Thank you for taking global climate change seriously, the threat to
all living species is real and severe.

I strongly believe that emitters of carbon should pay for these
emissions based on the volume. Be it a carbon tax or cap-and-trade.
 Regardless of the technique selected, the fees should create an
incentive for renewable, non-carbon energy.

Coal is the worst energy severe damages to land, creeks and humans
during mining. Instensive energy for shipping. Horrible air
pollution and massive ash lagoons that are dangerous and toxic.

Conservation is our easiest first step.  Wind, solar, public
transit and smarter buildings will make a big difference too.
