Please vote in favor of the new bill to regulate "In-Use Off-Road
Diesel Vehicles. Many scientific studies have proven that
particles from diesel engines are very toxic to the resporatory
systems in people, particularly young children and senior
citizens. There is a very high cost to a sickened and weakened
public that should be fully considered when making this important
decision, the  " Result in health benefits and reduced health care
and hospital visits is $18 to 26 billion dollars", to the tax
payers. The cost for allowing filthy, old technology, diesel
vehicles to opperate is much to high. It is time to step foreward
and insist on a cleaner and healthier future for California
citizens.
