As a resident of the Greater Los Angeles area, a real estate
practitioner, and as the aunt of two small children with asthma, I
am writing to urge you to PLEASE adopt the proposed regulation of
In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicles, such as those used in
construction.

Witnessing the health problems and ongoing treatment of my nephews
with asthma fills me with dismay and alarm. Having researched on my
own the possible causes of their suffering, I have found that
Southern California has among the worst air quality IN THE
NATION!

This regulation would go a long way toward reducing particulate
pollution along with our infamous smog, and would - in addition -
lead the way for the nation, as California so often does. This
regulation matters - immensely - to the people of California and
to the nation. For our health, the health of our children, and our
environment, I urge you to PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE adopt this
regulation, and adopt it NOW!
