| Comment | Construction vehicles emit a significant portion of CA's particulate pollution and the technology exists to reduce these emissions dramatically. We should do it. Public health benefits alone will make the legislation pay for itself many times over. CA needs cleaner air, and the challenge is only getting bigger as more people move into the state and more pollution flows into our air from China. This would be a timely and meaningful victory in the battle for cleaner air, and better health in CA. |
